“ It’s not a fancy place but it’s decent, busy in the weekend, the food is good though, and I was told by the village locals that it’s one of the best in town. The staff are friendly and smiley. They don’t have a view, as the are a bit off the town center. I tried the faux filet, and the portions were above average. ”
“ Exceptional friendly service and superior food quality Despite Saturday crowds, our waitress was courteous, patient and multi-lingual. The beef tartar salad was excellent. The beef was tender and all the salad fixings blended well and unlike previous salad in Aix, this was dressed only to enhance the ingredients. My husband had a chicken breast with tomato, seasonings and cheese. We couldn’t eat the generous portions and brought more than half the chicken home that was an ample dinner the following night. The wines were the best I’ve tasted in two weeks! Had hoped to return, but they are closed Sunday and Monday night for dinner. ”

The ladies who served us were extremely efficient and friendly and one course followed another without delay. The food is absolutely wonderful and all homemade. We visited twice in the few days we were staying nearby and after the second visit we felt that we were already welcomed as locals! ”
